Former cricketer Madan Lal hospitalised



New Delhi: Former cricketer and Congress candidate Madan Lal was admitted to a hospital in Noida on Wednesday after he complained of hypertension and backache.


"He was admitted to the hospital at 7 p.m. for hypertension and backache. But he is stable now and is under treatment," said a senior medical officer of the Max Hospital.


Madan Lal is contesting the Lok Sabha election from the Hamirpur constituency in Himachal Pradesh, which goes to polls May 13.
